When a family is experiencing a problem there is no better way to proceed than to come together and openly share the problem that might have the family stuck at some point. What happens is members of the family soon begin to develop a strong respect for each other and the therapist serves as a facilitator to help each other work toward a common solution. In most cases, for example, teens learn of their parents concerns and the parents see that the teenage is attempting to “flex” his/her independence. Sometimes that independence needs to be discussed before the family can get back on track. Most of the times, this form of treatment strengthens the family and a tighter bond for all the members to each other grows from that point.

If you are just getting started or coming via a referral, it's easy to schedule an appointment with a member of our professional staff. The cost of the intake appointment is $75—a portion of which may be covered by your insurance.
