If an individual gets arrested for a non-violent offense yet it is discovered that the person has a problem with drugs or alcohol, because of Drug Court, that person might never do time in jail but spend his/her time in counseling to work with the problem. This idea is a joint venture between certain treatment centers and the Superior Court system to work with people who have a problem with abusing substances and need treatment to stop the hellish cycle.

In operation now for eleven years, it is highly successful and has helped many individuals avoid prison time and receive help for the problem. The whole idea was initiated by Genesis Counseling Center and other treatment centers who work together for the benefit of the client who needs the help and direction.

If you are just getting started or coming via a referral, it's easy to schedule an appointment with a member of our professional staff. The cost of the intake appointment is $70—a portion of which may be covered by your insurance.
